We Have a Secret!!

Well Zoe has been back at school for a few weeks.  She really likes her teacher and seems to get a long with everyone at school.  She has had a few spelling tests already and has done pretty well on each of her tests.  She gets to ride the bus once in a while which she did not get to do last year!  After school she has a number if activities.  Sonja signed her up for soccer once again and has played two games so far.  She is a little behind the other girls but seems to enjoy it.  However, we hear the soccer coach calling her name quite a bit as she is often on the other teams side, has kicked the ball to her own goal and likes to be the one to kick the ball anytime the ref/umpire lets them kick-off.  She is improving She does not dribble the ball but will wind up and try to kick it, even when other girls are trying to pick it up. Could be a accident waiting to happen I suppose.  Zoe is also signed up for dance where she is learning Hip-Hop and tap.  Finally she has tumbling at a cheer leading gym and gymnastics at another spot so she is very busy.

Nathaniel is also very busy.  Football season has started so we are in the stands on Friday nights.  His classes are going well.  He was selected for the National Honors society.  He is a very good student and very active at school.  This past weekend he took his first ACT test, feels he did ok...his mom will have him take several more before he is done. Poor guy! I only took it once! He is playing fall baseball and on Sundays has wresting practice. He is now enjoying the many parties that the kids seem to have.  We had 45 football players over for a late swim and sleepover and then this week had about 30 kids over after the homecoming dance.  School has started with a bang!

So, here is the secret. Sonja and I are in the beginning stages of another adoption. We plan to adopt again in China, we had so much good fortune the last time we adopted from there. Boy or girl will be fine but are leaning towards a boy.  Sonja has agreed to champion the paperwork process this time since I did it the last time.  So far we have sent in the application and it has been approved. So lots of work ahead of us.  Needless to say I do not think neither Nathaniel or Zoe is overly excited but oh well!!! More to come.
